The Metropolis of Vernon has put out an invite to tender for development at two lake accesses on Okanagan Lake.

The invitation to proponents seeks submissions for development lake accesses on Lakeshore Highway and Okanagan Touchdown Highway.

Enhancements at Lakeshore Highway will embrace a concrete plaza and bus cease pad, asphalt pathway, 100 metres of street widening, set up of a pedestrian bridge on the busy Kin Seaside/Canoe Bay, and drainage enhancements.

On the 8797 Okanagan Touchdown Rd. website, enhancements to the unimproved lot will embrace the addition of parking, a walkway and crosswalk, drainage enhancements, visitors calming signage and street markings, and landscaping.
